For reporting a student absence:
You do not need to notify the school in advance.
Please note that all absences require a written note or email from a parent or legal guardian in order to be excused*.
The note must include the following:
Name of student
Name of homeroom teacher
Date(s) of absence
Reason for absence
Signature of parent or legal guardian
*Not all absences will be excused. Absences are coded in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR).
